Techo Kaigi Workshop with Victoria Kirst of Pouch Magazine

October 2, 2025

On October 2nd, we gathered at Yoseka Land to celebrate one of our favorite times of year—planner season!—with our very first Techo Kaigi workshop, led by the creator of Pouch Magazine, Victoria Kirst.

As we entered the last few months of 2025, the energy in the room felt like a collective deep breath and reset. Everyone brought their planners, journals, and notebooks to share, and over the course of the evening, we learned how to conduct our own Techo Kaigi, the practice of reflecting on your current system and imagining what might work better in the year ahead.

What made this event so special was the spirit of openness everyone brought. Participants took turns presenting their setups, flipping through well-worn pages and fresh starts, talking through what worked, what didn’t, and what they were hoping to carry into 2026. We ended the night by contributing to a collaborative zine filled with planner insights, systems, and little personal touches from everyone who came.

Hosting this workshop with Victoria felt like such a natural extension of what Techo Kaigi means to us here at Yoseka: curiosity, reflection, and that planner season hopefulness we all share when a new year is just around the corner.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us, shared their systems, and made this first Techo Kaigi workshop such a cozy, thoughtful evening.
