Tono & Lims: A Space Walk at Yoseka Land

From July 26th through 29th, we had the incredible honor of hosting Tono & Lims for their A Space Walk event, their first-ever appearance in the U.S., right here at Yoseka Land.

Typically held only in Japan and select countries in Asia, A Space Walk is a traveling experience for fountain pen and ink lovers, and we were so excited to help bring it to New York for the very first time. For four full days, guests joined us at 58 West Street for a packed lineup of hands-on ink fun: from reserved custom ink-making sessions at the Ink Lab, to walk-in Shimmer Bar appointments where visitors could choose from over 80 shimmer options to blend into their inks.

In addition to making ink magic, attendees played games to win bottles of ink, shopped rare and limited Tono & Lims colors, and browsed curated stationery from small Japanese shops. Many of these items were nearly impossible to find outside Japan, so it was such a treat to make them available to our community, even just for a few days.

The event also included workshops with Bechori (@bechori89), known for his stunning lettering and ink techniques. Watching him demo his skills in person and share techniques with attendees was a highlight for many of us.
